The OptoLinx Universal interface is a TTL to RS232 convertor with built-in two level data slicer circuit. The Optolinx adapts for use with a wide variety of radios, scanners, decoders, frequency counters, and frequency recorders. The distinguishing feature of the OptoLinx
is its unique ability to connect both half and full duplex devices and alternate
them under software control. The advantage of full and half duplex interface
is that it allows for multiple radio computer controlled scanning. The OptoLinx is the only device made that has the capability for complete versatility, functionality and speed that no other interface can match. |

TECH FACTS The Optolinx is truly a universal interface, combining the features of three separate units in one small black box. Use as a separate interface to perform computer control scanning with a compatible receiver. Interface to a number of Optoelectronics frequency counters and frequency recorders to download memory saved to those units, or in the case of the M1, you can also perform real time datalogging as frequencies are captured by the M1. The two level data slicer allows the conversion of FSK data to RS232. This allows the operation of many different third party programs such as ACARS, WeFAX and any other program that requires a two level data slicer to operate. |
